Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Salesforce OmniStudio Developer to implement projects in the public sector. The Salesforce OmniStudio Developer is key in implementing innovative solutions for our clients. As a technical expert in Salesforce development, you will guide our clients and team through the software development lifecycle, driving the art-of-the-possible with OmniStudio. You will deliver high-quality code and ensure successful validation and testing throughout the project. Your primary responsibilities include developing end-to-end Salesforce solutions using configuration and customization tools such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning components, and OmniStudio. You will also be hands-on in coding across Apex programming, LWC, Flows, Security, Sales Cloud, and APIs. You will work closely with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met, while actively participating in Agile methodologies. The position requires the ability to perform the following: Leverage OmniStudio to design and configure FlexCards for creating dynamic, personalized, and responsive user interfaces that present contextual information Develop step-by-step guided interactions using OmniScripts to streamline complex business processes and enhance user experiences Utilize DataRaptors to efficiently handle data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and scalability Enable seamless integration between Salesforce and external systems by configuring OmniStudio's Integration Procedures for effective data processing and real-time connections Implement complex business logic and transform data efficiently using OmniStudio's Calculation Procedures to automate decision-making processes Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions utilizing both declarative tools and custom code, including Apex Classes, Triggers, Visualforce Pages, and Lightning Components Hands-on experience with OmniStudio development, Apex programming, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, Security, Sales Cloud, and APIs to deliver robust, scalable solutions Integrate Salesforce with cloud-based and on-premises applications using standard and custom REST APIs for smooth data exchange and interoperability Conduct independent code reviews and support unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality deliverables Set up and use CI/CD processes enabled by GIT and deployment pipelines (e.g. Bitbucket or GitHub pipelines, CircleCI, Jenkins, etc.) Debug and resolve issues, identifying and addressing defects to ensure the functionality and performance of delivered solutions Collaborate effectively with technical managers, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and drive the successful implementation of technical solutions Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to daily scrum meetings, analyzing user stories, and resolving gaps in functional and business requirements Internal Responsibilities: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years of experience working in Apex Programming, custom development of LWC components, Triggers, integration using Rest APIs Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery and web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.) Minimum 3 years of experience working with Omniscript, Data Raptors, Integration Procedures, and Flex cards Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience Good understanding of best practices and coding standards Familiarity with agile software delivery methodologies and tools such as Scrum, Jira, and Rally Salesforce Technical Certifications (i.e., Salesforce OmniStudio Developer, Platform Developer 1 or 2) are a plus An active security clearance is a plus Location: The role is fully remote, but the candidate must be in the United States.
