Seeking an Oracle Developer to design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases for a NSW Government department. Strong PL/SQL and database optimization skills required, with experience in Oracle administration and system integration.
1. Oracle Forms Development:
* Design, develop, and maintain Oracle Forms applications to meet functional requirements and enhance user experience within the Asset Management System.
* Customize and extend existing Oracle Forms modules to support new features and functionalities as per project requirements.
2. Database Management and Integration:
* Work closely with Oracle databases, writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to ensure seamless data integration and retrieval within the AMS.
* Optimize database performance and conduct data validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
3. System Enhancements and Support:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to implement system enhancements and resolve technical issues.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle Forms applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and maintaining system uptime.
4. Documentation and Compliance:
* Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, deployment guides, and user manuals for Oracle Forms applications.
* Ensure compliance with coding standards, security protocols, and best practices in Oracle Forms development.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience (10+ years) as an Oracle Forms Developer or similar role, with expertise in designing and developing Oracle Forms applications.
* Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
* Experience with Oracle Forms Builder and Oracle Reports, with the ability to customize and extend forms to meet business requirements.
* Familiarity with Oracle database administration tasks such as schema management, data migration, and backup/restore procedures.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle Forms Developer Certified Professional) a plus.
