Position Information:
Working closely with other members of the Information Technology team to ensure workflow, back end processes and operating systems function optimally within the integrated suite of supported applications
• Perform system integration, hardware and software installation, configuration and disposition of servers and workstations to support the architecture
• Install, configure and maintain multiplatform systems hardware, software and components
• Plan, develop, design, integrate and maintain all computer applications, including specialized applications specific to the program's objectives
• Plan and coordinate highly complex software and hardware for enterprise release.
• Ensure systems conform to architectural objectives
• Evaluate complex system's production readiness and supportability
• Perform the restoration of complex computing service operations
• Perform complex system problem identification and resolution
• Integrate security solutions into information systems
• Monitor system performance to support capacity planning, backup and disaster recovery planning
• Experience with Storage Systems (Fibre Channel and IP-based storage interconnects, storage arrays, SAN switching/zoning)
• Minimum 3 Years of System Administration experience with VMware Server/VDI Virtualization, Windows Server and Linux/Unix Servers
• Experience supporting on premise Microsoft Exchange 2016/19
• Superior communication skills both oral and written
• Proven time management, problem solving and decision making skills
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
• A 3 year Diploma in Information Technology from a Community College or a 3 year Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science is required
• Microsoft and VMWare Certification considered an asset
• Experience within a Health Care Environment considered an asset
