Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Curriculum Leader to join our team. This role is essential in developing and implementing educational programs that enhance the learning experience for students in the healthcare field. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology, patient care, and pharmacy practices, ensuring that our curriculum meets the highest standards of excellence. As a Curriculum Leader, you will collaborate with faculty, staff, and industry professionals to create engaging and effective learning materials. Responsibilities Design and develop comprehensive curriculum materials that align with educational standards set out by the Government of Canada and industry needs. Collaborate with educators to implement innovative teaching strategies that enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of curriculum programs through feedback from students and faculty. Stay updated on current trends in healthcare education, including advancements in medical terminology and medication administration. Provide training and support to faculty on curriculum implementation and best practices in teaching. Ensure that all curriculum content is compliant with relevant regulations and accreditation standards. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and success. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, patient care practices, and pharmacy technician responsibilities. Previous experience in curriculum development or educational program management is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A passion for education and a commitment to improving student learning experiences.
