As our client company Good Sign Oy's business grows, we are looking for a Platform Architect for Good Sign Oy in Helsinki or Tampere. The position is permanent and full-time, with a start date in January 2025. Eilakaisla acts as the recruitment partner, and the employment contract will be made with Good Sign Oy.

Your role

We are seeking a seasoned Platform Architect to take a leading role in shaping and maintaining our technical ecosystem. This position involves backend development, DevOps oversight, test automation, and Full Stack development, alongside fostering cross-functional collaboration. As the Platform Architect You will collaborate closely with the Product team members and other key stakeholders to align development practices with business needs and ensure continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities will include

• Full Stack Development: Develop and maintain robust, scalable solutions using Javascript, JQuery and  technologies.
• DevOps: Oversee CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as a Code, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure smooth deployment processes. Knowledge of Azure or AWS/GCP.
• Leading the development and execution of test strategies, plans and test execution.
• Being part of the scrum development team.
• Writing and maintaining automated tests in close collaboration with developers, while also mentoring and coaching team members

To be successful in this role, you should have

• At least 10 years’ work experience in a similar role in software product development.
• ASP.NET MVC (.NET Framework and .NET Core), Razor, ADO.NET
• JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS and preferably React
• Familiarity in Fintech is considered as a plus.
• Previous work experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Preferably previous experience in UI automation framework like Cypress/Playwright
• Good knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools.
• Knowledge of SQL (We use stored procedures)
• Good communication skills and ability to discuss software design decisions.
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Eagerness to learn new things and have a get things done attitude.
• Good initiative skills and the ability to work independently with minor supervision. Our team offers a lot of freedom and ownership.
• Fluent English communication skills
• Finnish communication skill is an advantage
