We have a 6-month contract to hire for a PL/SQL Developer with Unix Shell Scripting and Enterprise Healthcare insurance experience. 100% Remote.

Walk me through the day to day responsibilities of this the role and a description of the project (Outside of Workday JD): Work with existing scripts and PL code to change from a bug or enhance per a request. Create Procedures and functions based on the needs of the stakeholder (PL/SQL). Work with existing UNIX scripts to change as well as start one from scratch to meet the needs of the stakeholder. Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team: Competent in programming skills used, primarily PL/SQL, sql and UNIX scripting. Able to take a task from partial requirements to deployment through the software development lifecycle. Tell me about what their first day looks like: The first day is usually getting the computer setup and a lot of onboarding training videos and interactive trainings What previous job titles or background work will in this role?
