Job DescriptionJob Description Job Posting Title: Principal Architect, Data & Analytics (Fully Remote) Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Principal Architect, Data & Analytics to lead and shape the architecture of our enterprise data and analytics platform. This key role will focus on four core verticals: Acquire and Ingest, Store and Compute, Delivery and Access, and a superior consumption layer supporting an exceptional user experience. As a member of the Data & Analytics Architecture and Strategy Office, you will contribute to planning, designing, and implementing a cutting-edge enterprise data and analytics vision. You will enable innovation, streamline solution complexity, and align with strategic business goals to deliver impactful outcomes. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-driven professional who thrives in dynamic environments and is eager to bring innovative approaches, validated by industry research and proofs of concept, to solve complex challenges. Primary Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise data and analytics architecture, best practices, and guiding principles. Develop technical blueprints, architecture patterns, and roadmaps for future-state architecture. Collaborate with stakeholders and solution architects to align business use cases with enterprise objectives. Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives to assess and validate potential solutions. Analyze existing architectures to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend scalable solutions. Define interim and end-state architectures to support organizational goals. Document architecture frameworks and maintain standard principles and processes. Stay current with industry trends to bring innovative ideas to the architecture practice. Educational Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Certifications: Relevant cloud provider architect certifications, TOGAF, or CDMP are desirable. Experience Required 9-12 years in data and analytics solution delivery or related roles. 5-8 years of experience in architecture or design, focusing on cloud-based data and analytics platforms. Skills & Knowledge Behavioral Skills: Strong organizational agility and problem-solving skills. Creative, innovative thinker with a customer-focused mindset. Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and manage cross-functional stakeholders. Results-driven with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Technical Skills: Expertise in data and analytics methodologies, platforms, and integration processes (on-premises and cloud). Proficiency in Python and SQL for data management and analysis. Familiarity with integration patterns (batch, real-time, micro-batch, etc.) and Data Fabric frameworks. Tools Knowledge: Data pipeline tools like ADF and IICS. Streaming/event processing tools and pub/sub software. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Remote work environment with minimal noise levels. Sedentary work requiring frequent use of a computer (25% or more of time). Ability to stand, walk, and handle stressful situations as needed.
