We are is seeking a full-time Programmer/Software Developer to support government agency based in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia area. This is a remote exempt position. Responsibilities: Assists Senior Developer with creation of software solutions by studying requirements, analysis and information needs, conferring with customers and IT Management; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; perform software design using software development fundamentals and processes, debug, test, and deploy software solutions. Assists the Database Developer in monitoring and maintaining relational database management systems (RDMS) to optimize database performance, resource use, and physical implementations of databases. Assists Senior Programmer in the modification and maintenance of codes and scripts required for all systems/applications supported within the customer's technical environment. Assists in the documentation through development of documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code. Assists with test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of developed Assists with monitoring and managing database backups, logs, and journals; install, maintain, and upgrade database software, restore and/or recover data as required Requirements: One to three (1-3) years demonstrated experience as a Programmer / Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of applications. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. IAT Level Certification : CompTIA Security+ CE certification. Demonstrated experience of various COTS software/hardware, and network products; Windows OS, SQL, MS Office, etc. Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications. Demonstrated programming experience with PowerShell, Visual Studio .Net, JavaScript, SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation.
