We are looking for a Project Controller for our Technical Development & Engineering in Porvoo Kilpilahti. 

In this role you are working with project control and administration tasks for Porvoo location's project portfolio to enable the projects to meet their objectives in HSE, quality, time and cost, and establish project control tools and routines with engineering partners.

As a Project Controller these are your main responsibilities: 

• Project portfolio follow-up and reporting tasks
• Controlling of project costs and schedules by participating project management teams 
• Guiding the engineering partners and project teams within the project control instructions and contractual issues
• Participation in group network and contributing to developing ways of working
• Providing support related to project cost estimates and schedules
• Monthly invoicing of project's engineering hours and procurement
• Supporting with other administrative tasks related to project monitoring and reporting 
• Development of KPI reporting and project reporting and monitoring tools
• Ensuring that lessons are learnt when project control incidents occur. 

In this role there is a possibility for remote work according to our hybrid model (50/50). 

About you

We expect you to have a Master's or Bachelors degree in Economics and Business Administration or Engineering, and experience in project control or project management. You can either be a more experienced professional or still at the early stages of your career, as in this role, you will work togetger with a seasoned colleague. Excel and SAP knowledge is must. Also knowledge in SAP, Primavera and  Power BI is an advantage. Good knowledge of EPCM way of project execution helps you succeed in this role. 

Excellent analytical and communication skills, combined with enjoying to share knowledge with others will equip you to excel in this role. We hope you have a systematic way of working and you are achievement oriented. We are proudly an international company, so you will  need fluent verbal and written English in this role. Finnish language is a plus but not necessary. Safety is the highest priority in Borealis, so we expect you to demonstrate high HSE&E awareness, integrity and ethics.
