Job Overview: We are currently seeking candidates for a Geotechnical Engineer position based in Albany, NY. Responsibilities: Develop proposals for subsurface investigations and geotechnical engineering services. Coordinate and assist in managing the scope of services provided by subcontract drilling firms. Perform technical analysis and provide parameters for design based on subsurface investigation results. Prepare geotechnical engineering reports. Conduct geotechnical field inspections during the construction phase, as needed. Participate in meetings with design team, stakeholders, and clients. Qualifications: B.S. degree in civil engineering or a related field. 0 to 5 years of progressive experience in the geotechnical engineering field. EIT license is a plus. Effective verbal and written communication. Driver’s License Required. Capacity for self-motivation and ability to apply engineering knowledge to various projects.
