Aqarios GmbH, a spin-off of QAR-Lab from LMU Munich and part of the world's leading research labs in the field of quantum computing, is a unique company with renowned customers and partners that is fully funded for years to come. We are a young and dynamic tech startup that wants to grow together with a motivated and dedicated team and build and consolidate new structures with you. Our business is to develop method knowledge, software algorithms, and development tools that deliver value for quantum computing applications. We offer multiple solutions, including our quantum computing platform, but also solutions for the financial sector - and we want to work on this with you!

YOUR TASKS

• You become part of our agile and lean developer team that works on our solutions in the financial sector.
• You will work with globally established customers and partners.
• You maintain and improve the backend of our services.
• You work on all our backend technologies that go along with hosting the service.
• You integrate customer feedback into our platform in a lean and agile process and support in troubleshooting.
• You are ready to support the development of new features such as microservices, other frameworks and Python packages and software.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed (or ongoing) studies in the field of computer science (or related studies).
• Advanced programming skills in Python.
• Experience with Git, Docker and FastAPI.
• Knowledge in financial mathematics and portfolio optimization.
• Experience with Document Databases (MongoDB), Redis, Pydantic, ORMs/ODMs (SQLAlchemy, Beanie) or comparable technologies is a plus.
• Experience in the development and design of CI/CD processes.
• Good knowledge of English, German is a plus.
• Experience with interdisciplinary development teams and the application of agile methods is an advantage, but not mandatory.
• Residence in Germany!
