Job DescriptionJob Description Position Description: Qlik Developer Position Title: Qlik Developer Location: Remote Clearance Level: US Citizen, Public Trust (or higher, as required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)) Company: Fedsight Consulting Overview: Fedsight Consulting is seeking a Qlik Developer with 3+ years of developing reporting and visualization solutions using Qlik Sense. The role will be working directly with clients to assist with and execute the planning, design, development, and implementation of Qlik Sense and custom web applications. The role will also work alongside other team members to collaboratively analyze and understand requirements to build solutions. Responsibilities Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Interface with customers to solicit, define, and document needs and requirements Evaluate and analyze business needs and requirements to design solution alternatives Analyze systems and data sources to determine how to fulfill needs and requirements with available data Create data architecture and data models to efficiently meet reporting and visualization requirements and business needs Design, construct, and integrate Qlik and other data visualization solutions Conduct and support data validation, testing, and peer review Support the implementation of solutions through the development of technical and user documentation, facilitating and leading user trainings, and delivery of ad-hoc user support Leverage project management software to manage project delivery, requirements, enhancements, and bugs Create and contribute to the documentation of business processes, practices, and standards for planning, development, and implementation of solutions Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or comparable degree Experience: Must have 3+ years of Qlik Sense application development experience Skills: Ability to multi-task and proactively support multiple development efforts simultaneously SQL experience is required Experience developing requirements for data visualization solutions Deep understanding and experience with data analysis, reconciliation, and validation Results driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong team player and willingness to learn and the ability and desire to share knowledge and experience to other team members Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of data modeling and database design is preferred Experience working with Tableau, PowerBI, Looker, Excel, VBA, MS Office and traditional BI tools preferred Qlik certifications desired Experience is Qlik NPrinting is preferred, but not mandatory Previous or existing Federal clearance or Public Trust adjudication Compensation: $115,000 - $140,000 including competitive salary, performance-based bonuses, and benefits package.
