About the Role
As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for testing new features, including front-end and back-end testing, as well as performing comprehensive regression, sanity, and smoke testing. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of meaningful QA practices, ensuring a smooth and efficient development cycle.
You will collaborate with the product and development teams to lead and develop testing strategies that align with project delivery documentation. You will conduct regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using a mix of manual and automated approaches to produce comprehensive test result reports. Additionally, in collaboration with the QA Lead, you will help define and implement ongoing quality improvement practices.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates technical expertise, confidence, initiative and ownership of testing tools and subject areas. You are detail oriented and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The Ability to problem-solve and identify the root cause of a defect and communicate that with the team in a clear and concise manner is required.
Responsibilities
Perform the testing activities for our core platform and other developer applications that are aligned with our test strategy and business requirements.
Front-end and Back-end testing.
Perform Full Regression Tests, Sanity, Integration, and End-to-End testing with a comprehensive test results report.
Automate Integration and Regression Tests for backend API's.
Apply testing methodologies, principles, and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.
Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the team's overall test objectives.
Work in a fast-paced collaborative developer environment, collaborating cross-functionally with Product, Designers, Front-end and Back-end Development.
Assist with identifying issues and risks, as well as contributing to resolution.
Requirements
3-4 years of experience in QA testing.
Demonstrated expertise in QA testing methodologies and practices.
Proficiency in coding languages such as Git, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, REST APIs, React/Next.js.
Experience with front-end automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman/Newman, Jenkins) is a plus.
Strong backend testing experience including error handling and data integrity.
Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
