Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled React Front-end Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will primarily focus on creating intuitive and engaging front-end user interfaces. While React expertise is essential, experience with .NET backend and SQL databases is a plus and will open additional responsibilities for full-stack development. This role requires a deep understanding of modern web development practices and collaboration in a fast-paced, technology-focused environment. Work will be performed primarily remotely but will occasionally require travel to meet with the team in Montgomery County, MD. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using React.js, ensuring high performance and a seamless user experience. Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement and integrate new features. Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices. Optimize components for maximum speed and scalability. Perform code reviews and troubleshoot issues to ensure high-quality deliverables. (Optional) Work on backend services using .NET Core or ASP.NET to create APIs and services that interact with SQL databases. (Optional) Design, manage, and query SQL Server databases to support application functionality. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily standups. Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong proficiency in React.js and related tools (e.g., Redux, Context API, React Router). Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with modern development tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite. Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git. Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating them into front-end applications. Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and responsive design. Preferred Skills (Optional): Experience with back-end development using .NET Core or ASP.NET. Familiarity with database design and querying in SQL Server. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered. 3+ years of professional experience in React development. (Optional) 1+ years of experience in .NET and/or SQL.
