Position Overview: We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Kids Coding & STEM Instructor to join our growing team! As a remote instructor, you will be teaching live, interactive online classes focused on coding, robotics, and various STEM topics to K-12 students. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about working with children and has a knack for making complex topics easy to understand and exciting to learn. Key Responsibilities: Teach live online STEM and coding classes to K-12 students using platforms like Scratch, Roblox, and Python. Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration. Provide hands-on guidance to students as they work through coding challenges, projects, and activities. Foster a supportive and inclusive virtual learning environment for students of all skill levels. Adapt lesson plans and teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles. Communicate with students and parents regularly about progress and upcoming lessons. Collaborate with the Wiz Kid Learning curriculum team to continuously improve course materials. Qualifications: Experience teaching or tutoring K-12 students in coding or STEM-related subjects. Proficiency in coding languages such as Scratch, Roblox, Python, and/or other relevant tools. Passion for STEM education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in children. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage young learners. Ability to manage a virtual classroom, including facilitating hands-on learning and addressing questions. Familiarity with online teaching platforms and technology (e.g., Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).
