[REMOTE] Sales Development Representative (SaaS business development exp. req.) Description
Our client, a fast-growing SaaS company, is looking for a Remote Sales Development Representative to add to their team. You will be responsible for lead generation and ultimately growing new business opportunities through effective engagement with key decision makers. Typically prospecting to HR Leaders, you will discuss their employee management SaaS solutions with the goal of scheduling a meeting with an Account Executive who will close the sale. Given the focus on new business, you’ll spend around 70% of your time cold calling. To be chosen for this role, you must have similar experience identifying leads and creating an effective outbound call strategy that has a measurable influence on revenue. If you are more comfortable with inbound prospecting, this would not be a good fit. However, if you enjoy having more autonomy and creative freedom in how you develop new business with a heightened comfort in cold calling, this could be an excellent opportunity for you. Their product is well-revered in the marketplace and with a more remote workforce, the demand for their software continues to grow. Although you’ll be joining as an SDR, with how much growth they continue to have YoY, there will be opportunities for upward mobility typically within the first 18 months. [REMOTE] Sales Development Representative (SaaS business development exp. req.) Responsibilities
• Research organizations with large frontline teams for lead generation
• Maintain a robust pipeline to generate new business opportunities
• Experiment with new tools and value propositions to enhance prospecting approaches
• Utilize email, social media, and outbound calls to target key decision-makers
• Use a consultative sales approach when discussing business needs
• Schedule 20–25 high-quality meetings per month for sales team
• Provide prospect feedback to Customer Success teams for product enhancement
• Collaborate to enhance lead-generation and monitor SDR-driven initiatives
• Travel to trade shows (2-3 annually) to increase market visibility
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs including meetings booked, calls made, etc.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 2+ years of sales development experience within SaaS required
• Strong lead generation background including cold calling required
• Experience prospecting to HR contacts required
• Background selling into a deskless workforce (i.e. healthcare, manufacturing, etc.) required
