Location: 100% Remote Employment Type: Contract (2 years, starting February 3rd) *** No C2C!!! or Third party Agencies*** Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Backend Python Engineer with expertise in RFID integration to develop and scale the platform powering real-time computer vision models. In addition to backend development responsibilities, this role focuses on RFID signal fusion and aggregation, enabling seamless interaction between RFID systems and computer vision models. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop backend systems that integrate RFID signal fusion with real-time computer vision applications. Implement RESTful APIs to enable communication between RFID and vision platforms. Utilize Kubernetes and Docker to containerize and deploy scalable services. Perform load testing, unit testing, and regression testing to ensure robust system performance. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to process and aggregate RFID signals for meaningful insights. Optimize cloud-based deployments on Azure or GCP for performance and scalability. Manage efficient GPU/CPU usage for real-time processing tasks. Required Qualifications: 4+ years of experience in backend development using Python. Expertise in RFID systems and signal aggregation. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with RESTful API development and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP). Familiarity with performance optimization for real-time systems. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in integrating RFID systems with computer vision or IoT devices. Prior experience in large-scale retail or e-commerce systems. Advanced knowledge of GPU/CPU performance tuning. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
