Client Location: Ft. Worth, TX

Type: Contract (Remote)

Position Duties:

• Providing full-cycle RPG development including: planning, programming, testing and implementation.
• Implementing and troubleshooting complex programming changes and modifications.
• Identifying problems or potential problems with systems and/or clients.
• Communicating technical information to non-technical personnel.
• Analyzing, writing and maintaining computer applications in IBM iSeries (RPG IV, ILE).

Qualifications:

• Advanced RPG IV, ILE programming experience.
• Experience using Built-In functions
• Knowledge of Service Programs & Stored Procedures.
• Practical experience with SQL.
• Existing Source Code - follow current logic when modifying existing programs.
• Financial services or insurance industry is a plus, but not a must
