As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code while contributing to the architecture and development of scalable web applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain scalable and efficient Ruby on Rails applications. Design and implement robust APIs and integrate third-party services as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Stay updated with the latest Ruby on Rails developments and tools to ensure high-quality solutions. Qualifications:Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails development with 4+ years of experience. Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular is a plus. Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party APIs. Proficient in Git and version control workflows. Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and tools like RSpec or Minitest. Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker is a plus. Understanding of deployment pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Heroku) is preferred. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Self-driven with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
