Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer with strong expertise in designing and developing high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in API development, system optimization, and asynchronous job processing, along with a deep understanding of Kafka, REST architecture, and cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize scalable APIs, ensuring seamless data integration and efficient service communication.
• Work with Kafka and asynchronous job processing to enhance system efficiency and performance.
• Architect and build RESTful services with a strong understanding of best practices for API versioning, security, and scalability.
• Optimize application performance by improving database queries, caching strategies, and service integrations.
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing (RSpec, Cucumber) and participation in peer reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Provide technical leadership in API development, system optimization, and cloud deployment.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues, providing efficient solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Prepare and present technical solutions confidently to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong expertise in Kafka and experience working with asynchronous job processing (Sidekiq, Resque, etc.).
• Proven experience in developing and optimizing APIs with best practices in REST and GraphQL.
• Solid knowledge of performance tuning, database indexing, and query optimization.
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficiency in version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Ability to work in agile teams and demonstrate ownership of projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React, Typescript, or Vue.js for frontend development.
• Familiarity with GraphQL, ElasticSearch, and Redis.
• Background in healthcare or financial services.
