Role Overview
Platform: Salesforce Communications Cloud
Skills Needed: SFI - Comms Cloud Platform. Needs to be familiar with technical design and implementation-related details; will need to handle quick fixes or triage in high-pressure environments. Needs to be familiar with TMF open APIs, simple IAM concepts, data volume related aspects.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with experience in the Salesforce Communications Cloud platform and junior-level technical architecture. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement technical solutions while providing strategic guidance on best practices. In addition, you will handle high-pressure scenarios, ensuring rapid triage and resolution of system issues.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable solutions that leverage TMF (Telecom Management Forum) Open APIs, manage large data volumes effectively, and implement secure, streamlined Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Design & Development:
- Architect and develop complex solutions within Salesforce Communications Cloud to support business needs.
- Implement and customize Salesforce to enable seamless order management, customer lifecycle processes, and integrations.
- High-Pressure Support & Triage:
- Respond promptly to critical system issues, identify root causes, and deliver quick fixes.
- Maintain system reliability during high-volume transactions or integrations.
- API Integration Expertise:
- Work with TMF Open APIs for seamless external system integrations.
- Develop and test scalable API solutions, ensuring compliance with TMF standards.
- Data Management & Performance Optimization:
- Manage large-scale data volumes, optimizing system performance and query execution.
- Design data structures that handle scalability and ensure efficient data flow across systems.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM):
- Implement basic IAM principles to ensure secure and role-based access to Salesforce resources.
- Collaborate with security teams to comply with organizational IAM policies.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide guidance on Salesforce best practices, code reviews, and design standards.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in Salesforce Communications Cloud.
- Technical Expertise:
- Advanced knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL.
- Hands-on experience with TMF Open APIs and third-party system integrations.
- Strong understanding of large data volumes, indexing strategies, and data processing techniques.
- Architecture Skills: Ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
- IAM Knowledge: Basic concepts like OAuth, SAML, and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of handling high-pressure environments and providing immediate fixes.
Preferred Skills
- Certification in Salesforce Certified Application Architect or Platform Developer II.
- Familiarity with Telecom industry standards and business processes.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, or CI/CD pipelines.
