Client is looking for an ABAP Developer. This person will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing custom solutions and enhancements within the SAP environment using Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP). This role requires a strong understanding of SAP modules and the ability to collaborate with business users, functional teams, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Required Skills/Experience

• This role ensures that the technical solutions and schedules in the work order(s) are implemented within estimated time frames and the allocated budget. This includes but is not limited to, ABAP development and performance analysis, testing issue analysis, triage debugging, job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and issue resolution
• Collaborates with the Functional Team and Client Technical Lead in building the technical specifications
• Performs all unit testing as it relates to development objects
• Communicates status, effort estimates, and issues to Client Technical Lead
• Complex ABAP programming, testing and debugging functions related to the implementation of SAP modules

Desired Skills/Experience

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP.
• Knowledge of SAP development tools (e.g., SENA, SE38, SE37, ALV).
• Familiarity with SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, or HCM.
• Experience with Fiori/UI5 and CDS Views is a plus.

Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong analytical and debugging skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ability to optimize code for performance and efficiency.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
• SAP certification is a plus.
