Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for an SDET for a CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients. This position is fully remote. We are looking for a well-trained and motivated DEV/Test Engineer (SDET) who is passionate about testing software through automation. This will include integration with external data providers and partners. Someone who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a degree of creativity and latitude is required. You'll work closely with product and engineering teams to identify features, develop and automate system validation strategies to improve product quality and shorten release time from dev to production. This position involves the test and validation of applications, database and services in the overall application architecture. Responsibilities: Identify and implement solutions using internal and open source tools & infrastructure Reviewing user interfaces for conformity and functionality Working with other software engineers to understand product architecture and features Create and maintain data scenarios to support development and test activities Required Skills: Hands-on automation experience working with technologies: Java, Python, Java Script, .Net etc. 4+years of experience Writing and maintaining Restful Services and API using advanced frameworks. Working in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high quality software Familiar with JavaScript based frameworks Strong hands-on expertise using SQL and the ability to write complex queries SGA is a technology and resource solutions provider driven to stand out.
