Job Summary Job Description What is the opportunity? As a Part of the GenAI Platform Engineering team, this role requires an experienced application developer with some SRE experience. You will tackle difficult problems relating to scalability and reliability in the context of GenAI adoption across the entire company. As a senior member of the team, you are expected to deliver robust and scalable features to our APIs which reliably process thousands of request per second and millions of tokens per minute. You will also take ownership of the performance and scalability challenges with the GenAI Gateway, including enhancing and strengthening our SLOs, and building out new capabilities to improve observability. What will you do? Design and develop new features to our Python APIs with exceptional focus on robustness and scalability Design and develop performance enhancements to real-time GenAI completions and embeddings APIs Working with production grade Python services and addressing the performance issues that come with that. Designing and coding asynchronous applications Deploying and scaling k8s applications. Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisions. What do you need to succeed? Must-have 3+ years of production API development experience servicing a large user base. 3+ years of asynchronous programming experience in Python. Hands-on experience with GenAI completions. Proven track record of locating problem areas in complex systems and proposing innovative solutions. Intermediate experience in a variety of environments (Cloud, business workflows and services/APIs, databases) Hands-on experience in a variety of SRE languages and tools (Ansible, Dynatrace Managed, Terraform) Nice-to-have Hands-on experience with cloud technologies - AWS/Azure (Bedrock/Sagemaker/Azure Databricks) Hands on experience with GenAI projects in banking domain preferred.
