We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our team and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure at IND Technology. Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, automation, and CI/CD practices. You will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure efficient, reliable, and secure deployment pipelines and infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
CI/CD Pipeline Automation: Build and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automating deployment processes for application and infrastructure updates.
Monitoring and Logging: Implement and configure monitoring and logging systems (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK, Prometheus) to ensure system reliability, performance, and proactive incident response.
Configuration Management: Use configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet) to manage infrastructure and ensure consistency across environments.
Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks, optimize workflows, and improve efficiency.
Security and Compliance: Ensure infrastructure complies with best practices for security and regulatory standards, managing access control, and implementing security measures across AWS services.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to support deployment, troubleshoot issues, and improve deployment processes.
Documentation: Create and maintain documentation of infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and automation scripts for knowledge sharing and continuity.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
3+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS.
Strong background in software development and/or system administration.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, and CloudFormation.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub or AWS CodePipeline.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (Terraform).
Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and source control management.
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack) and security best practices in cloud environments.
Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and task optimization.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
Agile Experience: Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with Scrum or Kanban.
