Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer with expert-level proficiency in C# and .NET to lead the development and architecture of complex backend systems. Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and services using C# and .NET. Conduct comprehensive code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and maintaining high code quality. Mentor and guide mid-level and junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning within the team. Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues, ensuring system reliability and performance. Required Skills: Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET framework with extensive experience in backend development. Deep understanding of system architecture, design patterns, and software engineering principles within the .NET ecosystem. Extensive experience with databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Strong knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub. Proficiency with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for project management and team collaboration. Advanced knowledge of Elasticsearch for search functionality and data indexing. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization (e.g., Docker), and orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes). Experience with Databricks is a strong plus. Preferred Qualifications: Proven ability to architect and scale backend systems for high performance and reliability. Strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate with stakeholders and lead technical initiatives. A passion for mentoring and developing the skills of junior team members. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of experience working with C#/.NET and backend development, with a focus on designing scalable systems.
