Our mission is to help our customers identify security gaps before these can be exploited. We strengthen our customers' defenses by detecting vulnerabilities in their networks early so that they can take swift countermeasures. Our Product Department consists of eight development teams that optimize our vulnerability management solutions. In addition to many German and international companies, our customers also includes the German federal government.

As support for our Cloud team, we are looking for a Lead Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d) with many years of practical experience who enjoys advancing and helping to shape solutions. This position requires to work autonomously to achieve team and company goals. Taking on broader responsibilities, demonstrating exceptional focus and prioritization in individual work organization is necessary in this senior role. A motivated and dynamic team is waiting to benefit from your expertise.

Tasks

• Collaboratively developing solutions and making decisions as part of an agile team
• Extending our Cloud product hosted on ? with new features and fixes
• Applying common development practices such as pair programming, clean code, code reviews, TDD, continuous integration, etc.
• Performing failure analysis to component level and investigating root causes
• Testing and Monitoring of stability with appropriate tools
• Promoting the team towards more effective and satisfying work by providing
  constructive input during daily work and retrospectives
• Supporting the product owner in designing meaningful user stories
• If interested, mentoring less experienced or new colleagues.
