We are looking for talented self-motivated Senior Backend Developer to join our fast-paced ever-growing organization. You will join our Video Meeting platform (VMaaS) development team as a senior backend developer and technical architect working in a geographically distributed team. Under the direction of the VMaaS platform Director of Engineering, you will act as a backend architect and developer, providing guidance and supervision for more junior team members. As a part of your role, you’ll be providing the following services: Your Role:Design and develop scalable distributed APIs and software, interoperating with multiple third-party APIs and solutions and software stacks, with an emphasis on security and reliability Use good analytical skills to understand performance indicators, interoperability issues, customer issues, and optimize services and networks as required Participant in maintaining the Sangoma Meet Cloud platform to guarantee maximum SLA and 24/7 service availability Use best practices in coding and software development to produce highly efficient scalable and secure software Integrate Sangoma Meet product with other products of the company to provide video meetings and collaboration for these products Your Background: Fluent in the English language both in writing and speaking Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience. Experience with git and infrastructure-as-code tools. We use Pulumi and we are experimenting with Nix. Proficiency in at least four of the following programming languages: Rust, Typescript, C, Java, Lua. Good understanding of networking concepts, WebSockets and HTTPS protocol Hands-on experience in installing and managing Linux-based servers At least 5 years of experience with backend application development on Linux-based operating systems Experience in building scalable and redundant applications software Ability to quickly learn new technologies Good backend debugging skills What We Offer: Extensive health benefit and retirement saving options based on your country.
