We seek a talented and enthusiastic Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping Sharper Shape’s cloud-based product offering called CORE. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and scale infrastructure and services, supporting CORE’s mission to transform utility operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions tailored to business requirements.
• DevOps Integration: Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and system monitoring tools.
• Core Platform Development: Build internal tools, APIs, and microservices to enhance developer productivity and platform scalability.
• Data Processing Pipelines: Optimize cost and performance of large-scale data processing workflows.
• Collaboration: Work with AI/ML teams to deploy cutting-edge models into production environments.
• Security: Ensure that all systems comply with best practices for security and governance.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven expertise with major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with containers (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Advanced understanding of IaC tools like Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Java).
• Experience with cloud-native solutions, focusing on resilience, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Strong knowledge of APIs, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Great communication skills in English.
