About the Role:
Are you an experienced Controls Engineer ready to lead innovative projects? ? Join us as a Senior Controls Design Engineer and take charge of designing and implementing control solutions for world-class automated material handling systems. You’ll lead engineering activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while driving continuous improvement. ?

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead control system design and implementation for automated material handling systems. ?

• Develop PLC software, HMI, and SCADA systems, and test in virtual environments. ?

• Ensure CE compliance with Machinery Directive standards. ?️

• Commission systems on-site and support end-user training. ?️

• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. ?

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering or HNC/HND in Electrical/Mechatronics/Controls Engineering. ?

• Expertise in Siemens S7/TIA Portal, industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus, EthernetIP). ?

• Proven experience in industrial automation and distributed control systems. ?

• Full UK driving licence required (up to 60% travel across UK/EMEA). ?
