The Company Nigel Wright Tech are delighted to be working with a growing data solutions provider in their search for a Senior Data Engineer. You will have the opportunity to work in a technology agnostic manner and liaise with clients on a regular basis.  The Role Collaborating with Data Architects and Insight Analysts you will help to implement data pipelines across supporting data layers and models. Other key responsibilities include:  Working closely with colleagues on the development of client's cloud data warehouse and IoT analytics projects utilising cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS  Create and maintain detailed solutions documentation  Adhere to source control best practises  Coaching/mentoring junior members of staff Keep up to date with the latest technologies, methodologies and best practises in all things cloud and data  The Requirements This is a tremendous opportunity to work on some great projects with a variety of interesting organisations. Key requirements include:  ETL and data pipeline implementation experience, technology agnostic  Experience implementing solutions using at least one of the following technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, Azure Data Lake storage, Azure Function Apps, AWS Glue, AWS Lambda Functions, AWS Redshift, Databricks, Snowflake  Demonstrable knowledge of data warehouse and data lake principles  Demonstrable data modelling techniques such as Kimball, Inmon or Data Vault methodologies  Exposure to data engineering coding languages such as Python, R or Spark
