We are looking for Senior Data Engineers with experience in modern data platform development to join our supportive, and quality-oriented team of experienced consultants.

Responsibilities:
In this position, you'll be responsible for creating modern data solutions for our clients by…

• Designing data architectures for large enterprise clients

• Taking lead roles in projects, working closely with development teams to get things done with high quality

• Acting as a consultant, translating client requirements into technical specifications

• Building data solutions with tools like Snowflake, SQL, dbt, Python, Azure, AWS

• Integrating data from multiple source systems into a cohesive data platform

• Using data modeling and data governance practices to meet business and analytics goals

• Developing reports and dashboards that present data in a way that creates value for end users
  
  

Who are you working with:
Your role is based in twoday Finland's Data & AI business unit with approximately 200 employees in versatile roles related to modern data & analytics.

Your colleagues & stakeholders:

• You'll belong to a customer team, which is your home base and team with whom you spend most of your working time

• You'll get the opportunity to be part of our technology practices. Technology practices are communities of professionals with similar backgrounds focused on competence and offering development

• You'll have your own People Lead supporting your professional growth, career development and wellbeing

• You'll work closely with customers, who are mainly Finland's largest enterprises in both private and public sectors in all major industries
  

Key Skills in this Role:

• Experience building cloud-based data platform solutions

• Solid understanding of data modeling.

• Technology skills:

• Advanced SQL - a must have in this role

• Snowflake

• Dbt

• Python and Spark

• Azure Functions or similar serverless tools.

• Experience working in Agile environments, using methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

• Good communication skills in at least English, Finnish skills are an advantage

What success looks like in this role?
During the first 6 months, you have:

• Reached a billing ratio of at least 50%, or you are likely to reach it soon
• Your expertise has proven to be relevant in our customer projects
