BACKGROUND We are TechShare, a growing Salesforce software development and consulting firm. Our flagship product is Avocado: a Recreation and Member Management solution. As we expand and the number of clients grows, so do the number of features we want to implement in order to make their lives easier, as well as the need for great talent to make that happen. Avocado is built on and around Salesforce. This has many benefits, but has also forced us to be innovative in solving interesting problems to make Avocado stand out. Our other solutions focus on Salesforce (Apex / Lightning) development and AngularJS development. We have a couple of small C applications to support hardware integration. Currently, we’re moving from “start-up mentality” to sustainable growth. In the short term, we want to bring focus to improved unit testing and continuous integration. In the long term, we want to pay down technical debt and advance to new technologies. The team you will work with is diverse and representative. The environment is supportive and collaborative. OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE Who We're Looking For The team needs a skilled hands on Senior Developer who can take requirements, ask intelligent questions, refine a high level design, and plan solutions for a small, dedicated team. Required Skills JavaScript frameworks such as Lightning/React/Angular/View power our applications Object oriented language experience designing and implementing n-tier applications with platforms like Salesforce/Java/C or any other Bring to the table experience implementing Unit Tests that look for failure cases as well as success University or College degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or equivalent Source control experience with Git or similar Bonus Skills Experience building on the Salesforce platform (Apex, SOQL, Aura, Lightning) Communication, document writing, and time management soft skills Optional experience developing Financial Applications (at least knowing which side the debits go on) Personal Profile Desire to work in a collaborative team environment Eager to deliver excellence, but Knows how to deliver on time Ability to work directly with business analysts to understand requirements and architect solutions Willingness to learn from and teach others Attention to detail Ability to self-motivate and successfully work remotely Working Conditions This is a full-time position with an industry leading company.
