We’re expanding and looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to bring their expertise and join our dynamic, remote-friendly team. Your Role: As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of our development and deployment operations, implementing best practices in CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and security. You’ll collaborate closely with our development teams and stakeholders to build efficient, scalable, and secure environments that drive our software solutions to success. Key Responsibilities: - CI/CD Pipeline Design: Build, implement, and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI. - Cloud Management: Optimize and manage AWS infrastructure, leveraging EC2, RDS, and Amplify to ensure scalability and reliability. - Infrastructure as Code: Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. - Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch, implementing proactive solutions to minimize downtime and maintain high availability. - Collaborative DevOps Practices: Work with developers and product teams to embed DevOps principles throughout the software development lifecycle. - Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve deployment and configuration issues to keep projects running smoothly. - Security Enforcement: Implement and uphold security best practices across all cloud environments. - Process Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in DevOps methodologies, staying ahead of industry trends and adopting new technologies. Desired Qualifications: - 7+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role - AWS Expertise: Proficient in using core services such as EC2, RDS, and Amplify - CI/CD Mastery: Skilled in setting up and maintaining pipelines with tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab CI - IaC Proficiency: Experienced in automating infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible - Containerization Knowledge: Strong understanding of Docker and Kubernetes - Monitoring and Logging: Familiar with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch - Scripting Skills: Solid ability to script with Python, Bash, or PowerShell - Security Best Practices: Knowledgeable in security, networking, and cloud architecture - Problem Solver: Proactive approach to identifying and solving technical challenges - Strong Communicator: Excellent collaboration and communication skills, thriving in remote work setups Preferred Skills: - Experience working with Node.js and React.js applications - Familiarity with Bitbucket for version control and team collaboration - Knowledge of serverless architectures and using AWS Lambda - Experience in Agile methodologies and working within Agile teams The Honey Pot: - Flexible workload: Start at 10-20 hours per week with potential for full-time in the future - Guaranteed salary raises: Earn 5% raises every 3 months when KPIs are met - Work on a mix of exciting new projects and ongoing deployments for established solutions Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week Compensation Package: Bonus opportunities Schedule: 4 hour shift Monday to Friday Work Location: Remote
