Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. RESPONSIBILITIES Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; and following the software development lifecycle. Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching, and educational opportunities. Coordinates with DevOps Engineers to improve CI/CD and deliver Collaborate with the engineering team to develop a shared technology roadmap based on business needs. Research new technologies, advancements and industry improvements in order to stay abreast of the latest developments and enhance the success of the company. Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code Lead the development of a technical solution that meets the needs of the business and aligns with architectural standards. Design, maintain, and implement automated test cases for functional, API, load, and end-to-end tests. REQUIREMENTS 4 years work in website/software developer, engineer or related position. Advanced JavaScript experience including modern front-end frameworks such as Vue, React, and Angular with a preference for Vue. Knowledge of ORM’s such as Entity Framework, Dapper or js preferred. Experience with cloud hosting solutions and technologies such as Azure and Vercel preferred. Experience with SQL databases preferably SQL Server including schema design and optimization. Experience creating and consuming APIs with strong knowledge of REST standards. Experience working with web application backends, preferably with .NET and C#. Automated unit test and integration test Able to evaluate and implement testing strategies. Knowledge of modern software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices in the financial services industry preferred. Strong written and verbal communication Excellent follow-up. Able to lead projects by defining requirements, building projects tasks and conducting capacity planning/time estimates.
