Since its founding in 2013, Wholesale Express (WE) has established itself as a leading digital auction platform, facilitating vehicle trades between dealerships beyond local borders. What started in Quebec now extends across North America, offering our dealers daily access to a dynamic cross-border market. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Front-End Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our web applications using VueJS, Nuxt}S, and Firebase Realtime Database, with a NodelS backend. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Canada Responsibilities: Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Design, develop, and maintain user-facing features using VueJS and NuxtiS. Collaborate with the back-end team to integrate NodelS APIs and ensure seamless data flow between front-end and back-end systems. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Code Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Implement best practices in code versioning, testing, and deployment. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to create a cohesive user experience. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Communicate effectively in English: French is a plus but not mandatory. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Proactively suggest improvements to existing systems and processes. Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. Required Qualifications: Experience and Expertise: 5+ years of experience in front-end web development Strong proficiency in VuelS and NuxtJS (Javascript Framework). Experience with Firebase Realtime Database and NodelS. Solid understanding of HTML. CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with GraphQL is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems Github and Jira Skills and Competencies : Strong problem-solving skis and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, Ability to work independentiy and manage time effectively in à remote work environment.
