About the opportunity Were looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with deep expertise in React and modern styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS to help us build intuitive, scalable, and performant web applications. Youll take ownership of UI architecture, collaborate closely with product and backend teams, and play a key role in shaping the user experience of our platform. This is a 6-month contract position, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance. This position reports to the Director, Software and Automation and can be remote anywhere in British Columbia or Alberta ,Canada. Key Accountabilities Develop, test, and maintain modern web applications using React and Tailwind CSS. Lead frontend architecture decisions and ensure best practices in code quality, design patterns, and performance. Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement features from concept to production. Optimize applications for speed and scalability. Review code, mentor junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement of our frontend stack. Stay current with evolving frontend technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team. Key Qualifications & Experience Consideration for the role is subject to the following qualifications or experience: 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong portfolio of React projects. Expert-level proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, React Hook Form and Tailwind CSS. Solid understanding of modern frontend workflows (e.g., Vite, Webpack, ES Modules). Experience with state management (e.g., Zustand, Redux, Jotai, or similar). Familiarity with accessibility (a11y), responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. Experience with testing libraries (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library) is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
