Position Overview
Clone Corp is looking for a skilled and creative Senior Frontend Engineer to join our engineering team. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you will take ownership of building elegant, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces that bring our AI-powered platform to life. You’ll collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and designers to craft seamless user experiences, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like TypeScript, Apollo, and Next.js. Your work will directly empower our users to interact with and harness the potential of advanced AI tools.
What You’ll Do
UI/UX Implementation: Design, develop, and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces using TypeScript and Next.js
GraphQL Integration: Work with Apollo to integrate GraphQL APIs for efficient, real-time data fetching and state management
Performance Optimization: Ensure applications are optimized for speed, scalability, and an exceptional user experience across devices
Component Architecture: Build reusable and maintainable frontend components and design systems to ensure consistency across the platform
Collaboration: Partner closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and implement new features
Testing & Quality Assurance: Write unit and integration tests using modern testing frameworks to ensure robust, bug-free code
Code Reviews: Participate in and lead code reviews, ensuring best practices and high standards for frontend development
Accessibility: Advocate for and implement accessibility best practices to make our platform inclusive for all users
Stay Current: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in frontend development to ensure our technology stack remains cutting-edge
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of professional frontend development experience, with a strong focus on TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks
Expertise in Next.js, React, and related technologies
Experience working with GraphQL APIs and tools like Apollo Client
Strong understanding of responsive design principles and CSS frameworks
Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or similar
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web applications
Passion for creating exceptional user experiences with attention to detail in design and functionality
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG)
Familiarity with UI/UX design tools and workflows (e.g., Figma, Sketch)
Knowledge of accessibility standards and tools like ARIA and Lighthouse
Exposure to AI/ML applications and platforms
