Role Overview This is an opportunity to join our dedicated front end team, where you'll have the chance to work on a range of UI applications and browser plugins. Alongside this, is a chance to drive the future of our front end architecture, tools, standards and practices, and avail of a range of dedicated support and resources to provide constant growth and personal development. We are looking for individuals that bring energy, enthusiasm, and engagement to the team that will be excited to work with some very talented and enthusiastic engineers, as well as a desire to leave their mark on the team as well. Some of the things we are looking for: Excellent programming skills in Typescript/Javascript Experience with enterprise ready React or Angular applications (or other modern framework) A solid understanding of HTML and CSS. Experience with one or more build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, Gulp, etc. A test focused approach to front-end development Comfortable moving between libraries / patterns / technologies Experience using Git in a collaborative environment Solid communication skills Experience working in a team Experience with mentoring other developers through tools or processes such as Pull Requests, Pair programming, or general team discussions. Excited by technology Some things that would be nice to have: Experience/knowledge of functional programming in Javascript Experience with REST API and 3rd party APIs, OAuth, E-commerce plugins A general understanding or experience with server-side development.
