Tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software across our entire stack
• Collaborate closely with founders and team members to define and implement new features
• Contribute to architectural decisions and help establish best practices
• Support the growth of junior developers and foster a culture of engineering excellence
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies

Requirements

• Must-Have:
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python, with a focus on backend development
• Expert-level knowledge of React and modern frontend development practices
• Proven track record of building and deploying production-level applications
• Experience with cloud providers and cloud native approaches, particularly AWS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a small, agile team
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with Pulumi or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of financial technology or accounting software
• Previous startup experience
• Experience with AI/ML technologies, particularly in large language models
