Summary: Humango is currently hiring a Senior Java Developer in support of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Continuous Diagnostic & Mitigation (CDM), and Data Services Program. The CDM Data Services Program is a critical component of CISA’s national effort to ensure the defense and resilience of cyberspace. This is a remote position where the candidate can work from any location within the United States provided, they are able to work on an eastern time zone schedule. Qualifications: Over 8 years of experience in distributed service engineering within a software development environment. A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Proven expertise in building highly available services. Familiarity with developing service-oriented architectures and micro services architecture. Strong proficiency in Java. Duties and Responsibilities: Designing and developing Java-based components and interfaces for IAM frameworks. They may also design and develop applications for mission-critical systems. Implementing and monitoring security technologies and projects that support the company’s security policies and procedures. Troubleshooting, monitoring, and supporting IAM for a client. Providing expert knowledge of IAM technologies Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle. Supporting a team in the modernization of legacy identity services as well as implementation support of Okta services. Will be an integral part of the integration team and will help to shape the global identity services architecture. Supporting migrations, updates, and fixes. Providing technical assistance and consulting. Planning, testing, and implementing configuration changes. Administering application security. Documenting process diagrams Decision-Making Authority: The Sr. Java Developer has day-to-day decision-making authority for all deliverables, engagements, communications, and other support efforts that they produce for the customer in support of the program’s portfolio of services and products.
