One of our companies is currently looking for a
Senior Level Designer - Casual Games in
France, United Kingdom, Germany, Finland, or Spain.
This role is ideal for a creative and analytical level designer with a passion for casual puzzle games and a deep understanding of player engagement and monetization. You will be responsible for building fun, challenging, and scalable levels that drive retention and revenue. Working cross-functionally with game designers, product managers, and data analysts, you'll leverage in-house tools and player data to iterate and innovate. Accountabilities:
- Design engaging levels using proprietary tools and maintain overall level balance across the game
- Build progression systems and gameplay loops that promote player retention and monetization
- Implement new mechanics and iterate on core gameplay to keep experiences fresh and innovative
- Analyze player data to optimize level design and performance through A/B testing and KPIs
- Develop scalable and reusable level templates to support long-term game growth
- Collaborate with UX teams to conduct playtests and gather feedback to refine level design
- Work closely with tech teams to enhance and streamline the level design process
Requirements
- Proven experience in level design, particularly within casual or puzzle games
- Solid understanding of game mechanics, progression balancing, and player engagement strategies
- Experience with Unity and familiarity with custom level editors or similar tools
- Ability to interpret player data and make informed design decisions
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple design tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in data tools like Google Sheets and comfortable with basic analytics tracking
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
