We have a great opportunity for a Senior Modern Workspace and Cloud Engineer to join a bespoke managed service company, based in Central London. The post-holder will take a leadership role in managing and supporting end-user technology, focusing on the global desktop environment. This role is pretty much fully remote, apart from the requirement of occasional in-office meetings (usually once a month). The ideal candidate should be highly motivated and enthusiastic, with strong problem-solving skills, effective leadership, and project management experience. Excellent communication both verbal and written and customer focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and support. Responsibilities: * Working with Citrix HSD and VDI workstations * Global client endpoint (surface laptops) configuration and management * Providing escalation services to the client Service Desk to ensure SLAs are met * Application packaging and troubleshooting * Engineering solutions for efficiency improvements * Supporting the client’s Azure environment * Lead and manage projects (including Windows 11, Citrix/VD and Windows 365 migration projects) * Ensuring project documentation is accurate and up-to-date * Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and develop project plans * Knowledge transfer to 1st/2nd line support teams * Mentorship of junior team members * Participation in the 3rd line support rota Technical requirements: * Citrix DaaS (Virtual Apps and Desktops) and/or AVD (including configuration and troubleshooting) * Citrix Netscaler * Strong experience in Windows Server and Windows 10/11 operating systems Desirable Skills: * Ivanti UWM * Ivanti Security controls * Microsoft Intune * Azure Virtual Desktop * Citrix Hypervisor * ControlUp
