We are looking for a passionate and skilled .NET Developer to join our dynamic, cross-functional team on a 12-month renewable contract through Salt (Rates: R700 - R800 p/h, Remote for a UK Customer). You will contribute to the development of innovative, greenfield products that bridge the digital and physical in-store experiences, including in-store kiosk ordering, click-and-collect systems, new till software, order fulfilment apps, and customer loyalty programs. These mission-critical products aim to provide millions of customers with a fast, friendly, and seamless experience every day. As a member of the team, you will work in an agile environment and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure our solutions meet user needs. You'll have the opportunity to be involved in the entire product life cycle, from concept to delivery, and will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of code quality, security, and performance. Key Responsibilities:. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines with integration, functional, and end-to-end testing. Work with cloud platforms and services, ensuring seamless functionality. Champion test-driven development (TDD) and employ testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, Moq). Build and maintain secure, high-quality RESTful APIs in .NET. Collaborate with a range of stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a .NET Developer. Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, and object-oriented design principles. Experience developing and working with RESTful APIs. Familiarity with cloud platforms and services. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing methodologies. Strong advocate of TDD with proficiency in frameworks such as xUnit and Moq. Ability to build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proactive and results-oriented with a collaborative mindset. Additional Skills: Experience with distributed micro-service architectures. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh technologies. Understanding of modern web application authentication and authorisation standards (JWT, OpenID Connect, OAuth). Experience in mobile development (Flutter, Android, iOS).
