JOB DESCRIPTION Join our team as a part-time software engineer to help us design, develop, and optimize applications with .NET and C# technologies. You'll work on RESTful APIs, collaborate across teams, and follow best practices for coding and deployment. This role is crucial for our success and allows for a part-time work schedule with flexible hours and opportunities to work in a collaborative fully remote environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET technologies, including C# and VB.NET. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software. Debug and optimize applications to ensure optimal performance and scalability. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and other system integrations. Follow best practices for code development, testing, and deployment. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and integrate them into existing projects as needed. QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of software engineering experience. Strong experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, and/or VB.NET. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with SQL databases and ability to write efficient queries. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. NICE TO HAVE: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Ruby or Node.js. Proficiency in front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Blazor. Experience with Razor Pages or other .NET web development technologies. Familiarity with data pipeline tools and processing. Knowledge of Redshift or other data warehousing solutions. Strong understanding of microservices architecture and containerization.
