The Notes Domino Developer will work remotely from Manitoba or on-site if in Winnipeg providing application maintenance supporting our Enterprise clients.
Reporting to the Director of AMS, a typical day might include some of the following:
Application maintenance through the design and development of existing applications.
Assessment of client environments for the purpose of recommending environment and application upgrades
Assess service requests for validity and recommend solutions
Conduct design and code reviews
Perform quality assurance and unit, system and integration testing and user acceptance testing functions
Assist in the creation of user manuals
Support and problem resolution for production systems
Skills & Experience:
Minimum of 6+ years' experience of application development using IBM/Lotus Domino R8.x, Domino System Administration, IBM Notes and Web enabled Domino development, LotusScript, JavaScript, CSS, XML, HTML and Windows Server experience
Relevant University degree, relevant college diploma, or appropriate certification.
Ability to analyze problems and provide clear recommendations
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Able to collaborate with clients, and have strong desire to excel
Public sector experience would be an asset
