PURPOSE:
Facilitate coordination and implementation of CDC’s AI/ML strategy and enterprise AI/ML roadmap through performance of project management activities, data science support, development and dissemination of informational and training related materials and artifacts for consumption by internal and external partners, and coordination and collaboration assistance with CDC programs, governance bodies, and STLT partners.
Position Requirements
The DMAC AI/ML Team is seeking a highly experienced Senior Palantir Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Senior Palantir Data Engineer will be focused on onboarding new projects and developing customized data pipelines and Foundry infrastructure for our customers. This role requires extensive experience in data engineering, a deep understanding of Palantir Foundry, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in data engineering
5+ years of experience in Palantir Foundry and pipeline development
Experience integrating new client projects into Palantir Foundry
Experience in developing and optimizing data pipelines and infrastructure
Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and programming languages (Python, PySpark, and SQL)
Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Possession of strong problem-solving abilities
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Additional Qualifications
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Palantir Foundry certifications or previous Palantir trainings are highly preferred
Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
