The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement (SBP) is looking for one (1) or more Senior Programmer(s) to join the Citizen-Centric Program Delivery Branch of the ITD. Duties of the resource(s) will include, but are not limited to: Working with ministry personnel to assess and understand business project requirements and desired outcomes. Overseeing the technical implementation and deployment of new business solutions. Delivering and documenting new solutions built in a variety of technologies including Oracle, On-Premises, and Cloud. Delivering solutions that integrate into and/or leverage existing enterprise systems with a focus on maintaining system integrity when handling Class B data. Preparing detailed written and visual documentations using tools such as Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint. Troubleshooting problems and delivering timely resolutions to said problems with an understanding of the impact of coding changes can have on crown jewel systems or business. Leading and managing a variety of business technology projects as a Senior Programmer. Designing and developing complex enterprise business technology solutions tailored to organizational needs, including working extensively with PL/SQL. Applying modern business and data analysis practices to inform technology strategies and project outcomes. Interpreting and navigating government documentation and processes to ensure compliance and alignment with project goals Adhering to established technology standards within GOS to maintain quality and consistency across solutions. Collaborating effectively with Ministry partners and third-party vendors to drive project success and integration. Utilizing StarTeam version control tools to manage code streams. Leading and managing a variety of business technology projects as a Senior Programmer. Providing mentorship and guidance to team members, ensuring alignment with project objective.
