Company's products are used by thousands of companies around the world, including Dell, GoDaddy, IBM, Zoom, and many others. You will be working on the fastest-growing product, providing automated kernel security updates without reboots for the most popular Linux distributions.
It is a fully remote company, with flexible hours, where you can plan your day and work from anywhere in the world.
Your tasks on the position:
Get involved in the development of Python-based CloudLinux OS products
Write unit tests and functional tests for your code using Python
Contribute to code reviews using Gerrit
Help shape the architecture and create technical documentation for new features
Investigate and address issues reported by clients, partners, or our support team
Collaborate with 3rd level support team to provide guidance and assistance
Requirements
7+ years in Software Development
4+ years in Python programming
Proficiency in system programming, including knowledge of sockets, filesystem, and process management OR Linux 4+ years (good level with GNU/Linux operating system and shell scripting)
Experience working with git-based development processes
Proficiency in PyTest
Knowledge of Ansible and Jenkins
Familiarity with RPM/DEB package management, including writing RPM spec and DEB rules
English B2+
Will be an advantage:
Knowledge of C language
Experience with Python frameworks: Flask and SQLAlchemy
Familiarity with NGINX
Experience with ClickHouse
