Program Management Solutions is seeking a part-time Senior React Developer to become a part of our growing team. This is a fully remote position but the ideal candidate will be local to the Washington DC Metro area or must be willing to travel to the area for occasional on-site meetings. This position is for a technical surge role and the developer will need to be available to work from 4:30-7:30 pm for 2 weeks Nov 4-Nov 15 and be available for an entire day in person in the DC metro area towards the end of November or early December. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, with the following experience: 2 - 5 years of relevant experience Required Qualifications B.S. degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field. Experience with both front-end (React) and back-end (Springboot) development. At least 2 years of recent hands-on experience with React/Typescript Ability to understand and incorporate REST APIs and microservices architecture. Ability to Independently Problem Solve Possess a combination of the following: Understanding of software design and programming principles. 3+ years of professional software development experience designing and building cloud applications. At least 2 years of Designing and Developing experience with React. At least 2 years’ experience with developing applications in JavaScript or TypeScript Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams. Able to work and collaborate remotely, be self-directed, work independently and communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner. Other Desirable Qualifications Knowledge and experience working with traditional or document databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or other databases. Experience with programming languages such as Java, VB/C#, Python, Ruby, .Net etc. Experience working with version control tools (e.g., Bitbucket) s and Automation Tools (e.g., Gitlab). Experience creating and consuming RESTful services. Experience supporting software and/or web application planning and deployment.
